If you want to do some marketing to get new patients, the best place to do it is on the internet and the best place to do on the internet is with Facebook ads.
Now, Facebook ads are very inexpensive compared to advertising on Google. Why don't you put together some Facebook ads and here's one of the hints for you, video Facebook ads draw better than written Facebook ads. If you do a Facebook ad and do a short video, maybe 90 seconds, it will pull better and you'll get better results than just putting a written ad on Facebook. One of the things that's hot right now is Facebook. We all know that Facebook is hot and everything has his day in the limelight, if you know what I mean. In fact 10 or 15 years ago when we started teaching this information, we said you have to have a website and more than 50% of the therapists 10 years ago did not have a website.
Now basically everybody has a website. Then about 8 to 10 years ago we said you have to have your website optimized and we taught them how to optimize their website. Now it's still important to have a website, it's still very important to have your website optimized, but then new things come on the block. There's a new kid on the block and so Google was the hot thing and is the hot thing right now and is a very good thing to do to spend advertising on Google but now, of course, thank time marches on and now Facebook and Instagram are both a pretty hot commodity as far as...

During this coronavirus time, one of the things you can do to stay in touch with your patients and to give them good information and to stimulate referrals is to do Facebook Live. Go to your Facebook, your business Facebook account, and you'll see there where it says "Go Live." Just look on the screen and you'll see if you scroll down a little bit, or a lot of times it's right on the top, where it says "Go Live" and you hit "Go Live" and it will count down and well, you'll do just like I'm doing now.
Do a video that tells your patients that you're still available, that you're available by telemental health and that how they can do it, that they can call today for an appointment and new patients are accepted. There's no better time to do Live Facebook than right now because people are at home. They're wondering what to do. They're surfing the internet, they'll find you, they'll take advantage of the situation, so,...

I could tell you how to do good Facebook advertising but there is a guru that tells you for free. I like to do Facebook advertising and it draws in a lot of people but I'll tell you there's somebody on YouTube that does a wonderful job and his name is Miles Beckler, M-I-L-E-S B-E-C-K-L-E-R. You go to him and he has 70 videos on YouTube that tell you exactly what to do with Facebook.
He's very unpretentious. He gives you a lot of information. He could charge $4,000 for this program but he has elected to give it to you free. Go to his video that says Facebook advertising and you'll see exactly step by step how to do good Facebook advertising and how to put in the things in your advertisement that really make a difference.

Are you blogging? Blogging on your website is necessary.
This keeps your website fresh and updated and keeps your business refreshed on the search engines. Come to think of it, when did you blog last? If it’s been less than 10 days, good for you. You need to do it probably at least once a week and even more often if you want to. Put it on your website. Once you’ve posted it, go in and copy the URL address. Then go to your other social communities that you already have profiles on and paste that URL address and post it on that site. That way when people Google you or Google the keywords that you have in those articles, it will come up right away. Having a profile in social communities such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter is all really good, but everything is going much farther now. Bookmarking, creating your own YouTube video and posting in content sites are a great way to get your brand and your name out there today.

video tip for you. One of the things that's hot right now, as far as getting new
patients, it is doing Facebook Live. Facebook Live is a very simple thing to do. In
fact, if we tell you how to do it, you can probably do one this afternoon. We have
clients that do Facebook Live meetings and get one or two new patients off it every
time. This is basically what you got to do.
You just go to Facebook and it says whats on your mind, you remember that. You
click on that and down below, you'll see four or five little decals. One of them has a
picture of a man with sound waves around it. Just click on that, tell them if you want
it to be private or if you want it to be public, and then hit the go button. It counts
down from three, two, one and you're doing it.

Dr. Michael Perusich: That's right. Like, Share and comment. Like, Share and comment. That's what you need people to do. You put something out on your Facebook page, you want people to like it, you want them to share it, you want them to comment on it. That's how your message gets spread through the Facebook community.
Dr. Kats: Yes, that's right. We have a client and this client does consulting with me and she has about 400 people on her Facebook list. Anytime she wants a new patient, she just puts some information out on her Facebook page and it generates two or three new patients every single time. You got to get to that critical mass.
