One of the biggest changes I've seen over the last five or six years is the move from doing single sessions, like 50-minute sessions to doing dual sessions with certain numbers of your patients.
Now, you don't have to do dual sessions with everyone. I know some therapists that do marriage counseling that say they need dual sessions with everyone. Instead of running from 9:00 to 9:50, they run from 9:00 to 10:40. That gives you two full sessions. How do you price a full session? You can price them the same as you do single sessions. If you want to, you can give a discount. I know one therapist that is very popular, they charge $150 for their services. If you do a dual session, the second one is just $100.
