Software To Know About

Uncategorized Mar 23, 2021

Hi. This is Dave Kats, therapist consultant and I have a tip for you. In my hot little hand, I hold a list of softwares that I think are important for therapists to know about. I'm going to read them to you. I'm going to tell you a little bit about them. The first one is called Fiverr, F-I-V-E-R-R. Fiverr. F-I-V-E-R-R. The is a place where you can go and get people to do things for you for 5$ or 10$ or 15$. They will write ads for you, they will write scripts for you, they will write-- if you want to put together a long series of audios for patient education or something like that, they will do about anything you want them to do.

If you want them to do a logo, they will do almost anything. Do yourself a favor and have some fun, go and look at the Fiverr website. The second one I look at is Upwork. Upwork is a business website that if you want somebody to write longer articles for you, or even publish a whole book, or do anything like that, they'll write it for you. If you want to do a six-CD series, they'll put together the script for you. They're a little bit more expensive, of course than Fiverr, but they do a very professional job.

The third one I have, of course, everybody knows about, and that's for your printing, I think that Vistaprint stands out. is the one that's going to take the first place with most therapists. Number four, if you don't have a logo, there's a company called freelogoservices, with an s, .com. Now, it's not really free, they design it for you free and by the way, you'll have a logo five minutes after you get to their website. If you left here and went and looked at, five minutes from now, you'll have a logo.

It really cost you about $39 to use that logo in every shape and size and the way you want it, and you can change it any way you want to. I'll tell you, that's a great place to get logos if you haven't got one for yourself, and you probably should have one. Then if you have legal things, I think that Rocket Lawyer or LegalZoom, either one is a very good way if you're going to form an LLC. The last LLC we formed with clients we used LegalZoom and it went real well and they were even very satisfied with it. If you're going to do some legal work, or need some legal things, use LegalZoom or Rocket Lawyer.

Then the last one and this is one that's kind of nebulous, but if you don't have any software, there's one that's not totally free anymore, but just about free, and that's Practice Star by Office Ally. If you don't have anything for billing and keeping your patient data, you might want to look into Office Ally. Those are the softwares that we see therapists that are on the cutting edge are starting to use and they're either free or very low cost. This is Dave Kats. Thanks for listening.
